1000 downloads what the hell

Just a quick post to celebrate a small milestone.

At some point in the last hour Private Dick crossed 1000 downloads here on itch.io.

One. Frickin. Thousand.

Honestly when I launched I wondered if I'd ever get to  a hundred. I've released projects before which have gotten nowhere near, absolutely nowhere near1000.

Now obviously I don't know if anyone actually enjoyed or even played the game since downloading it, but this tells me that people are taking an interest. That tells me I'm doing something right and gives me hope that I can kickstart this baby into life.

I know I keep saying it but this really is just the beginning - we're maybe 1/40th through the game (and the most boring 40th at that). I can't wait to see where this goes.

Thanks to everyone who's taken a look, downloaded and even played so far. I know I'm making big promises here and I don't think I'm living up to them yet - but I hope I will be soon.

I wish I had some nice art prepared for this but, er, I don't. So here's freshly redesigned, arguably SFW Bobbi making an offer you can't refuse.
