0.0.10 Release Notes

This week's release represents a significant visual overhaul for the game.

I've replaced the standard Ren'Py / visual novel dialog UI with something a bit more original, a bit more interesting, a bit more energetic. I'm really happy with the overall feel of the game now. This is a major statement of intent for Private Dick: a genuinely original visual novel experience.

Thanks to the efforts of my amazing art team, I've also been able to update the main character sprites. The art style is broadly the same, but  a bit more refined: a style tweak which will really lend itself to the erotic scenes. You'll see what I mean in 0.0.11.

There are still a couple of placeholders in the game, some missing backgrounds, and the Sam-Emily scene is a bit out of date now (although I'd argue it's still a strong scene).

Changes:

• Updated dialog and narration UI (including some display options)
• New character art for Steele, Evee, Emily and Bree
• Updated options on the new game splash screen
• Toned down the grain in the Sam-Emily scene (more improvements coming soon)
• Added three social media pictures for Minty
